Hello There !!!!

I must thank my country’s Ministry of Culture for awarding me the Established Artists Grant here in Michoacán. It’s a tremendous validation of my work as an artist—especially now,   


In the months ahead, I’ll be creating a series of paintings inspired by the flora of Lake Pátzcuaro / Uranden, the backdrop for Michoacán’s traditional Night of the Dead.


I’ve been captivated by this celebration since childhood—so much so that my wife and I married on November 2, marking the occasion by sailing across the lake that night amid a raging storm.


The original title of the project was "Antes de que nos olviden", but I decided to change it to a name that feels more universal and more closely connected to the Day of the Dead celebrations.

The name of the project is 
"The Endless River Project"

About my Notebooks

 The image above is from the year 2011 and captures the moment when I destroyed my notebooks containing notes and projects up until that year. I felt it was a point in my life when I needed to elevate my artistic processes and improve the way I developed my notes in my notebooks.
