I am sharing with you the second painting of my recent project "The Endless River," part of the PECDA "Established Artists Grant of Michoacán"
I am also taking this opportunity to share the status of my dissemination and the delivery of the PICS item, which still remains unanswered. I am concerned about the timeline, and given the situation, I am using this chance to share these concerns.
Under the title "signs of life #SOL20251012," this new research piece deals with a selection of flora and fauna from the Lake Pátzcuaro region. The painting measures 200 X 140 cm (78 X 55 inches) and is a mixed media on canvas.
Thanks to the kind collaboration of Biologist Mtra. Daniel Díaz Rodríguez, head of the Department of Environmental Management for the State of Michoacán (SECMA), I was able to access valuable information on these subjects.
I have ultimately decided to integrate the species "Ambystoma Dumerilii," better known as the Achoque or Pátzcuaro Axolotl. Regarding the flora, I had already been working on an abstraction of "Sagittaria Graminea," better known as Arrowhead. I am sharing images of the first drafts of the abstraction of this plant, which was finally integrated into the work in the form of a cartography, seemingly aquatic, which could be interpreted as representations of these regional axolotls.

I am also taking this opportunity to document my interactions with the Michoacán/Federal Ministry of Culture and the PECDA offices:
1. The agreement requires me to manage a dissemination project, for which I have stated will consist of an exhibition at a cultural center in Morelia, Michoacán.
My choice has been the Clavijero Cultural Center in Morelia.
I began formalizing my request for a gallery space at this venue on:
**September 1, 2025**, via email to dirprodart@gmail.com of the same CCC.
Since then, I have **NOT** received a response and I wonder what will happen...
It is important to have a date, with a significant amount of lead time, to arrange transportation logistics and secure potential sponsorships for its development.
2. Regarding the processing of the PECDA / PICS agreement:
At the Antiguo Colegio Jesuita Cultural Center, specifically Lic. Erandi de Jesús Díaz Barriga, accepted the donation of a sculptural piece via the official document: SC/DPADC/CCACJ/231/2025.
Following the instructions of Lic. Daniel Mendoza, the person in charge of monitoring the fulfillment and verification of the Federal PICS activity; I initiated the formal request for the verification process for the artwork donation; by requesting the application and delivery document from Lic. Erandi de Jesús Díaz Barriga via email on:
**October 3, 2025**.
To date, I have **NOT** received a response.
In this manner, I conclude this second report for tracking purposes.
Thank you for your time :).
